Our warm, humid climate is great for growing things, including mildew and algae on the side of your house. A regular wash keeps your home looking good and makes paint last longer.
Siding: Once a Year
Most homes do well with one wash a year, ideally after pine pollen season ends in late spring.
Shady Sides May Need More
North facing walls and areas under trees stay damp and grow mildew faster. These spots may need attention more often.
Driveways and Walkways
Concrete can be washed whenever it starts to look stained. Red clay and mildew come off much easier before they set in.
Decks Before Staining
Every deck should be cleaned before it is stained, or the new stain will not soak in evenly.
Use the Right Pressure
High pressure can damage siding, wood and window seals. We use a low pressure wash with a cleaner on siding and save high pressure for concrete.
